Ik heb een probleem, ik heb een banner ontworpen op illustrator deze is c.a 6 meter bij 62,50 cm.
Als ik deze wil opslaan in PDF op hoog drukkwaliteit krijg ik te zien De afmetingen van deze pagina vallen buiten het bereik.
Ik heb geen enkele idee wat ik nu zou moeten doen!
Ik hoop op gauw antwoord en dat iemand mij hierbij spoedig mee kan helpen!

I just had the same problem as the original post. I'm currently troubleshooting options. I first thought it was a font issue but switching to other fonts has the same results. Some of the lines I created with tabs are spaced solidly and some are broken so there is a space problem somewhere. I've checked kerning, justification, any other spacing setting I can think of.
I've temporarily created a character style for "underline" and removed my leading character and used the character style in its place.
I didn't seem to have this problem in CS6 but the CC 2014 now I do.
Did you properly reinstall the CS4 apps after updating your OS?
Try working in scale like 50% and print at 200%.

I would like to know how to transform the following icon

Do not really care about the background, but basically on one side, my shape has the inside of the circle and the top of the glass in white and all the rest in transparent.
On the other side, this is the opposite, the inside of the circle and the top of the glass is transparent, but the rest is white.
How can I go from one picture to the other with AI (again forget about the background)

Since upgrading from CS6 to CC I have an issue copy/pasting artwork from one Illustrator document to another.
Sometimes the strokes end up in the wrong place as you can see in the screenshot below. On the left side I just copied an illustration from another AI file and the lines appear to the bottom-right of where they should be (When this happens it is not possible to select the 'out-of-place' lines. Moving around what I have selected also moves around the misplaced lines, but they keep the same distance. The way that I have found to fix this is by either doing "Outline Strokes" or to make the illustration bigger or smaller. That will pop the strokes back into place. If I then Undo these changes the strokes stay in the right place.
This seems to happen with illustrations that were made in CS6, but saving the original file as CC doesn't help; the problem keeps occurring. It also seems to happen only to strokes that have a variable width profile. Strokes with a uniform profile stay into place. I have had this problem in Illustrator CC on both Windows and Mac and with various files that I originally created in CS6. It is pretty annoying as I copy/paste a lot of these illustrations, so I find myself constantly having to do "Outline Strokes" and then "Undo" to fix it. What can I do to prevent this?
Since upgrading from CS6 to CC I have an issue width changing Width Points on a line width variable width.
In CS6 I was always able to change the position along the line by dragging it to the left or right. This seems no longer possible. Clicking on the point and moving it just created another one. Is that by design or is there a setting somewhere that I do not know about?
Secondly I can also no longer delete existing Width Points. I used to do this in CS6 by double-clicking on the point and then clicking "Delete", but the button is now always grayed out.
Im on test 20 already with the new diagnostic feature, but im not sure its working. I starts to start, then just goes away with no information. Then I open again and it shows its on test number 20, 21 etc. Do I just keep doing this to infinity until it finally opens?

I want to make the edges of a playing card to fade to white like shown in the first image (in Illustrator).... I want to do this effect to the back of the card in the second photo.Is this possible? If so, how?
After the copy/paste, use the arrow tool to move the items 1 unit and then do a Cmd(Ctrl)-Z or Edit>Undo Move. It should force the objects to realign.
Apply Effect --> Stylize --> Feather to the shape you want to use as a mask, then use Make Mask in the Transparency panel.

AI is not a pixel processor. If this were vector-based you'd simply change the fill color. Otherwise you do it in Photoshop.

Simple file saving is significantly slower on Illustrator CC 2015. Pls fix this. It's killing productivity and a deal breaker for highly time sensitive artworks!
Using Illustrator CC 2015 and having a very annoying problem!
The Text tool is in permanently Arabic mode with Adobe Arabic as the default font.While the text I can manage somehow, when typing numbers they type from left to right.
Aside form this, my keyboard won't type certain keys like the "Quotes" keys in Illustrator. They work fine in other software, but only when using Illustrator, the quotes keys won't work but will type out the "»" Chevron instead!
I'm really, really fed up and have read solutions in other forum but nothing has worked as a permanent solution.

Maybe a silly suggestion, but what happens if you disable the GPU Performance by clicking the Rocket Icon in the App bar, or on the top of the menu bar, and deselecting the GPU Performance check box; you may also uncheck GPU Performance in your Preferences?

As I (mis) understand it, you may place the live Type/text on top, select both, and Object>Clipping Mask>Make.
